PRODUCT OVERVIEW

The static transformer switch (STS) is an advanced AC switch equipped with two independent inputs. In standard operation, one AC input remains active to provide consistent power to the load while the second input stays in standby mode. Should the primary power supply become abnormal, the STS utilizes high-speed switching technology to automatically transfer the load to the secondary power supply, ensuring uninterrupted equipment operation and maximum reliability.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q1: What is the main purpose of a Static Transfer Switch (STS)?
A: The STS is designed to provide seamless power switching between two independent AC sources. It ensures that if one source fails or becomes unstable, the load is immediately transferred to the standby source without interrupting equipment operation.
Q2: How fast can this device switch between power sources?
A: This unit features high-speed static switching with a transfer time of ≤4ms, which is fast enough to keep even the most sensitive electronic equipment running without a reboot or glitch.
Q3: Does the STS provide protection against voltage fluctuations?
A: Yes, it includes comprehensive protection functions such as input under-voltage and over-voltage protection, as well as output overload and short circuit protection.
Q4: Can the STS handle heavy loads during startup?
A: Absolutely. It is designed with a strong load capacity and can handle full load boot-ups reliably.
Q5: What are the environmental requirements for operation?
A: The device operates efficiently between -25℃ and 50℃. It can be used at altitudes up to 3000m, though derating is required for altitudes between 2000m and 3000m.
Q6: How can I monitor the status of the STS?
A: The front panel is equipped with a digital display and indicator lights for real-time status updates. Additionally, it supports RS485 communication for remote monitoring.
